FAQ
Where does the Moonshot program happen? Do I need to move to the USA?
No. Our team is Global and fully remote and so are our cohorts and investors.
How can we get funding for our startup?
Apply to join one of our programs and we explain all the avenues available to you.
What is the time commitment of Moonshot?
It is less than most founders expect; a few hours per week if you participate in all the recommended activities. All parts of the Moonshot program are optional; as a founder we expect you to choose how to spend your time to maximize the odds of your company succeeding.
Are any of your courses free?
Yes, the intro Max Live course is completely free to access.
What are the dates for the next batch?
It is all online and as such you get access as soon as you join. No need to wait for batches.
Am I too early to apply to Moonshot? Should I wait until I have more traction?
Moonshot was designed as a program for both those founders considering starting a business and seasoned multiple exit founders. Our resource library covers everything from where and how to register a company to multiple investor lists available for start ups seeking funding.
We‘ve already been working on our startup for a while. Is Moonshot appropriate for us?
7% of recent cohorts had more than $200K in monthly revenue when accepted and some as high as $500k.
Can I participate in Moonshot while I’m a full-time student or working full-time at a job?
You can certainly apply when you are a full-time student or employee.
Do we need to incorporate before applying?
No.
I'd like Moonshot to publisise my product / service among the portfolio companies.
The best way to publicise your product within the Moonshot community is to get a few Moonshot startups as happy users and ask them to recommend you to their peers.
That being said, we do keep a list of offers that we share with our active Moonshot portfolio companies. If you would like to offer a special deal on your service or product to our companies, you can do so here. We manually review these deals and will let you know if your offer has been approved or rejected.
Why do you charge a fee for your services?
We strive to cover our operating costs by charging fees for the products & services we create rather than relying on donations. Charging users for our services ensures that we provide the value you claim to deliver. Users of free products & services rarely complain. Paying users complain loudly; they will let you know when you’ve gone off course.
